Management and governance of creative business centres

The management and governance of creative business centres is arguably an essential factor in their innovative capabilities. Although the intensity and focus of management may differ considerably between CBC’s, active forms of management appear to be employed more widely than laissez-faire styles.  Our aim is to gain insight in the relation between the styles and practices of management of a CBC and the effects on the innovativeness and overall success of creative companies. The results of our research will be immediately fed back into the CBC’s management partnering in our research, thereby generating significant knowledge utilization for the creative industries.
